Our expectations for our program are high and our goal is to strive to be in the upper echelon of the Atlantic 10 with an opportunity to compete in the NCAA Tournament on a regular basis."

Lutz leaves his alma mater as the program's all-time winningest coach with a 218-158 record. Charlotte made five trips to the NCAA Tournament during his tenure, but none since 2005.
